Sarina Suriano

Born in Sydney, Australia, designer Sarina Suriano is today hailed for her unique, head-turning and glamorously feminine jewellery collections.

After graduating with a degree in Industrial Design from The University of Technology, Sydney, Sarina moved to Milan where she designed products for Alessi, Fischer Price, Mattel, Olivetti, Swatch and Telecom Italia. Craving a little more sparkle, Sarina moved to London in 1999 where she began working with cult jewellers Erickson Beamon. Here Sarina really found her forte, a place where her meticulous technical skills could be fused with her love of fashion..

Returning to Australia in 2001, Sarina launched her label SARINA SURIANO and was soon invited to take part in Australian Fashion Week – the first jewellery designer in history to be offered an individual show. Her designs were giving glowing reviews, acclaimed for being unique, wonderfully extravagant, inspirational and, in the words of one writer, eliciting “goosebump-inducing fashion moments.”

A hit with critics and customers alike, Sarina quickly gained a high profile in the media spotlight as one of Australia’s most creative designers. An industry favourite, Sarina’s designs have featured in publications including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, InStyle, Grazia, Sleek, Karen, Tangent, and Soma and are stocked by some of the world’s most exclusive boutiques. Sarina has also collaborated with designers such as Ellery, Collette Dinnigan, and Willow, as well as with global brands Swarovski, Paspaley Pearls, L’Oreal, Nokia and Visa.

Known for her statement-making, glamorous and yet playfully feminine aesthetic, Sarina’s personal style finds the perfect outlet through her namesake brand where she acts as both creative director and head designer.
